I am grateful for a day at the beach in December.

I am very proud of my boy who saw me looking at some QPS and latency graphs this morning for work and drew his own graph. It was actually very similar to the graph I was looking at. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to see my nephew baptized, and for my boys to be there too, even though there was a constant chorus of "I never want to be baptized" from the 2-year-old on the drive down.

I am grateful for my one, consistent napper.

I am grateful that Christmas is over.

It took 40 minutes to go through 14 of the 18 steps to build the fireman's truck.  By that time he had lost his patience and Lily had eaten/lost one of the pieces.  I put the tires on and called it done.
